About the Author:
Elaine Sandberg was a Mah Jongg instructor for many years. She taught American Mah Jongg for Holland America Cruise Lines and held classes in the Los Angeles area.

Tom Sloper is a game designer and producer who has lectured at the Smithsonian and written extensively on Mah Jongg. He lives in Los Angeles.

Jan Egri is one of the administrators of the Mah Jongg, That's It! group on Facebook, which has over 125,000 members. She has been a guest speaker as well as run tournaments for the Crak Your Bags mah-jongg-themed cruises and has hosted retreats for Mah Jongg Maven for the past two years. She is also the rules moderator for a monthly tournament in Venice, Florida, and a partner in the Mother of All Dragons mah jongg tournaments.
